Flower Agate is a variety of Chalcedony discovered in Madagascar in 2018. The flower-like formations are three-dimensional plumes of opaque pink and white Chalcedony suspended within a translucent base, visible from the surface as petal-shaped inclusions that genuinely resemble blossoms frozen in stone. They form as silica-rich fluids infiltrate cavities in volcanic rock, with the plumes growing outward as the material slowly crystallises.

Pale pink tones are strongest through the upper section, while cream and honey-gold colour gathers around the lower crystal faces and a natural side cavity.
