Translucent quartz crystals rise closely together in a slender, sculptural cluster. The surface shifts between softly frosted growth and glassier faces that flash in the light, while warmer honey-toned areas concentrate around the upper terminations. Natural dark inclusions and fine mineral staining run through parts of the crystal growth, adding contrast and a glimpse into the conditions in which the specimen formed. Acquired from an old private collection, this Ocean Jasper palmstone is one of those pieces that rewards a slow look. At first glance it reads as a beautifully banded agate — and it is — but spend a moment with it and the details reveal themselves one by one.

The banding is classic Ocean Jasper: smooth, flowing agate layers in warm tones punctuated by vivid red accents that catch the light and pull the eye. Scattered across the surface are druzy pockets where the mineral opened up during formation, leaving tiny crystalline orbs glittering in the cavities — the signature orbicular texture that makes Ocean Jasper unlike any other Jasper variety. A genuine moldavite tektite from the Czech Republic — one of the rarest and most sought-after minerals on Earth, formed not from the ground beneath us, but from the skies above.

This compact, squarish piece has rich surface texture all the way around, with the deeply etched, wrinkled character that moldavite collectors prize. Look closely and you’ll spot what appears to be a clay inclusion — a natural feature formed during the tektite’s journey through the earth, adding an extra layer of geological interest to an already remarkable piece. Each moldavite is entirely unique in shape and surface detail.

Moldavite, also called Vltavín, is a tektite — “terrestrial debris” formed approximately 15 million years ago when a meteorite struck the Nördlinger Ries Crater in what is now southern Germany. The impact scattered molten silica across a wide area, which cooled rapidly in flight and landed across Bohemia and Moravia. Its formula (SiO₂ + Al₂O₃), amorphous crystal system, and Mohs hardness of 5.5–7 set it apart from any earthly mineral.

Acquired from an old private collection, this Ocean Jasper palmstone is one of the most compositionally interesting pieces in the group — and it reads differently depending on which face you look at.

One side is dominated by deep pink/red orbs, rich and saturated, with white orbs scattered through them and concentrated more heavily toward the bottom. Threading through the deep pink and red is a fine detailing of green quartz, slightly sparkling, that adds a cool mineral counterpoint to the warmth of the surrounding colour.

The other side tells a different story. The central section opens into pale white and soft pink orbs, lighter and more open in feeling, while both the top and bottom of the piece cap it in that same deep red and pink — framing the pale centre like a border, as though the stone composed itself deliberately.

Dulcote Agate is one of Britain's most visually striking agates, quarried from a single site near Wells in Somerset. Each slice is a one-off — no two are alike.

These slices display the full drama of Dulcote's signature patterning: vivid brick-red and terracotta banding sweeps across a ground of cream and pale lavender chalcedony, punctuated by orbicular eye formations, fine white lace lines, and in some pieces, a central druzy quartz cavity that catches light like a geode.
