From the celebrated Huanggang Mine in Chifeng, Inner Mongolia — one of China's most prolific sources of fine mineral specimens — this piece showcases the distinctive 'blueberry' fluorite habit that has made the locality a favourite among collectors worldwide.

Dense clusters of deep indigo-blue botryoidal fluorite coat the surface in rounded, grape-like nodules, their colour ranging from midnight blue to near-black in the densest formations, with flashes of violet where light catches the curved surfaces. Bright white quartz points pierce through the fluorite crust, their milky terminations providing a vivid contrast against the dark mineral coat. The reverse reveals the full quartz host — a chalky white druzy matrix fringed with scattered indigo fluorite nodules along the edges, with three glassy quartz crystals visible at the centre.

Fluorite is associated with the Third Eye and Crown chakras, supporting intuition, clarity, and mental focus. This deep indigo variety carries a particularly introspective quality, connected to Neptune and Saturn and associated with Pisces, Capricorn, Libra, and Aquarius.

Ocean Jasper Palmstone | 6cm | Madagascar | Old Collection

Acquired from an old private collection, this Ocean Jasper palmstone has a colour story that unfolds across its surface. Ochre and orange orbs drift and flow into pink and purple hues, the transition between them soft and gradual, as though the stone couldn’t quite decide where one colour ended and the next began. Anchoring the base is a concentrated pocket of red and ochre — deeper, richer, and more saturated than the rest — that gives the piece a warmth and weight that draws the eye back to it.

Every orb is a record of radial mineral growth that took place over millions of years in the volcanic basalts of Madagascar. No two pieces are ever the same, and this one is particularly its own.

Spiritually, Ocean Jasper is associated with joy, emotional renewal, and the gentle release of what no longer serves you — a fitting companion for anyone drawn to its warm, unhurried energy.

A polished astrophyllite cabochon, showcasing one of the mineral world’s most visually distinctive inclusions.

The base is a creamy off-white feldspar, smooth and domed to a high polish. Set within it are bold, blade-like astrophyllite crystals in deep bronze-black — some running the full width of the cab in sweeping diagonal strokes, others clustering in shorter, denser groupings. A small pocket of fine druzy sparkle sits at the centre, catching the light against the matte blades. The profile is slim and even, with the inclusions visible from all angles. A sculptural grouping of honey-amber fluorite crystals rising from a dark, contrasting baryte matrix — a naturally dramatic combination that makes this a standout display piece. Sourced from the Xiefang Mine, Jiangxi, China.

Warm amber and golden-brown fluorite cubes stack and interlock in a tiered formation, their faces showing a high vitreous lustre with strong internal translucency. The colour deepens toward a rich tobacco-brown at the crystal cores, lightening to clear yellow-gold at the edges and terminations. The base matrix is notably dark — a dense, granular baryte with a near-black manganese-stained surface — creating a vivid contrast against the glowing fluorite above. The reverse reveals raw cleavage planes and stepped crystal growth.

Fluorite is associated with the Third Eye and Crown chakras, bringing mental clarity, structure, and focus. A naturally formed dravite specimen with a well-developed hexagonal cross-section — a crystal habit rarely seen this clearly in rough tourmaline.

The piece is deep charcoal-brown to near-black, with strong vertical striations running the length of the prism faces and pale grey-white matrix threading through the cleavage lines. A granular, slightly metallic face carries scattered mica flecks that catch the light, and the full hexagonal form is blocky and architectural. At approximately 3 × 3 × 3cm it sits solidly without support.

A petite but vivid Ethiopian opal cabochon cut in a classic teardrop form — warm honey-yellow body colour with an exceptional play of colour that belies its tiny scale.

The body tone is a rich amber-gold, semi-transparent and glowing with internal warmth. Across the domed surface, broad flashes of green, teal, and orange roll and shift with every movement — the orange concentrated in a swirling pool at the base, the greens spreading across the upper face in overlapping bands. The profile reveals a well-proportioned cabochon dome with a flat base, polished to a high lustre throughout. Presented in a black gem box.

A rare and exceptional red amethyst from Uruguay, where iron-rich conditions during crystal formation produce the deep burgundy-red colouring that sets these specimens apart from conventional amethyst.

The druzy face is densely packed with small, glittering crystals in a rich wine-red to deep burgundy, catching the light across the entire surface. Scattered throughout are distinct clusters of larger, rounded crystal formations sitting proud of the main druzy field — darker and more opaque, in deep plum tones, they add considerable textural depth and visual interest to the piece. A wide band of polished agate surrounds the crystal face — cream, grey, and teal-green in concentric layers — giving the piece a natural, oval frame. The reverse is a smooth, polished chalcedony in warm caramel and grey tones with natural inclusions and swirling patterns visible within.
