Rough Turquoise from the Kingman Mine in Arizona — one of the most celebrated turquoise localities in the world, and a name that carries real weight among collectors and jewellers alike. These pieces were handpicked at the Tucson Gem Show, chosen intuitively for their colour, character, and energy.

The shades shift across the batch: from a strong, saturated sky blue through to a softer, greener blue — the kind of variation that makes each piece genuinely individual. The surface is raw and natural, with the texture and matrix that only rough material has. At 3–4cm, these are generous, substantial pieces — beautiful to hold, display, or work with in practice.

Average weight is 20 grams per piece. Please note that one piece in this batch has a large quartz attachment, adding to its character and collectibility.

Turquoise is one of the oldest protective stones in human history — carried by warriors, worn by healers, and revered across cultures from the ancient Egyptians to the Native American peoples of the Southwest. Kingman Turquoise in particular has been mined for over a century and is prized for its consistent, vivid colour. Multiple rubellite crystal clusters burst through and across a chunky milky quartz host — vivid magenta-pink prisms ranging from short stubby terminations to longer needle-like crystals, densely packed at the base and sparser toward the crown. The quartz matrix is semi-translucent white with a sugary texture, providing strong contrast against the saturated pink of the tourmaline. The reverse shows the raw, unworked character of the piece, with earthy matrix and additional rubellite growth visible throughout.

From the celebrated Huanggang Mine in Chifeng, Inner Mongolia — one of China's most prolific sources of fine mineral specimens — this piece showcases the distinctive 'blueberry' fluorite habit that has made the locality a favourite among collectors worldwide.

Dense clusters of deep indigo-blue botryoidal fluorite coat the surface in rounded, grape-like nodules, their colour ranging from midnight blue to near-black in the densest formations, with flashes of violet where light catches the curved surfaces. Bright white quartz points pierce through the fluorite crust, their milky terminations providing a vivid contrast against the dark mineral coat. The reverse reveals the full quartz host — a chalky white druzy matrix fringed with scattered indigo fluorite nodules along the edges, with three glassy quartz crystals visible at the centre.
