Flower Agate is a variety of Chalcedony discovered in Madagascar in 2018. The flower-like formations are three-dimensional plumes of opaque pink and white Chalcedony suspended within a translucent base, visible from the surface as petal-shaped inclusions that genuinely resemble blossoms frozen in stone. They form as silica-rich fluids infiltrate cavities in volcanic rock, with the plumes growing outward as the material slowly crystallises.

Associated with growth, self-discovery, and the courage to bloom, Flower Agate resonates with the Heart Chakra and supports emotional confidence and the release of self-doubt.

Thulite's vivid rose-pink colouration — often threaded with white calcite veining — makes it one of the most visually striking pink stones available. Thulite is a pink variety of zoisite, a calcium aluminium sorosilicate mineral (Ca₂Al₃(SiO₄)(Si₂O₇)O(OH)), formed through metamorphism where intense heat and pressure alter existing rock. With a Mohs hardness of 6–6.5 and a monoclinic crystal system, it is often found with characteristic white calcite veining. Norway is the primary source of gem-quality Thulite.

A gorgeous one-off Flower Agate flame from Madagascar with an unusually deep, rusty orange base colour — a striking departure from the pale pink most Flower Agate displays, and one of the most distinctive examples of this stone we have had in. The plume formations are bold and clearly defined, standing out beautifully against the warm, earthy base. One piece, sold as seen.

From the celebrated Huanggang Mine in Chifeng, Inner Mongolia — a piece that goes beyond the typical blueberry fluorite specimen, revealing a rare hollow quartz geode interior beneath its dramatic indigo exterior.

The front face is densely packed with large, rounded botryoidal fluorite nodules in deep midnight blue, their surfaces carrying a high resinous lustre with occasional violet undertones where light catches the curved forms. Scattered white druzy quartz crystals push through the fluorite crust, dusting the dark surface with bright mineral snow. Turn the piece to reveal its most remarkable feature: a hollow geode cavity lined with smoky grey quartz crystals and white chalcedony — the fluorite fringing the opening in a vivid indigo border, like a window into the piece’s formation.

The outer shell is a gorgeous warm honey-orange Carnelian, smooth and glassy on the reverse, while the face opens to expose sparkling white Quartz crystals that catch the light with a bright, clean shimmer. Both Carnelian and Quartz are varieties of silica, with Carnelian coloured by iron oxide inclusions and the white Quartz druzy forming within natural cavities during hydrothermal processes.
