Lapis Lazuli Worry Stones

Pronunciation: La-pis Laz-u-lee

Chakras: Third Eye and Throat

Birthstone: September

Zodiac: Taurus, Virgo, Libra and Sagittarius

Element: Water

First found in limestone in northeastern Afghanistan, Lapis Lazuli has been actively mined for more than 6,000 years and are highly prized stones associated with royalty. In antiquity, Sumerians saw these stones as the vessels where gods lived, and in Ancient Egypt it was a symbol of strength and courage and have been discovered in the tombs of Pharaohs. The name derives from Persian meaning “blue stone” but you will also notice flecks of white, purple and silver running through the solid blue crystal. Lapis Lazuli stones have been used as holy stones and bring a sense of peace and harmony to the wearer, releasing stressful energy and guarding against psychic attacks. This is also a great stone to use if you are working on revealing your inner truth and can be a great companion during self-awareness work and aid you in being honest, compassionate and objective. Like most other blue stones, Lapis Lazuli will activate your Throat Chakra and inspire clear communication and self-expression so you can speak your truth with confidence.
