This 187g specimen (8x6.5x2.9cm) from Les Courtes in the Talèfre Basin of the Mont Blanc Massif, France displays the characteristic twisted growth that defines a true Gwindel, with natural Chlorite inclusions visible within and across parts of the specimen. Gwindels are among the rarest natural growth formations of Quartz, forming only under very specific geological conditions within Alpine fissures. Each Gwindel is completely natural and unique, with subtle variations in twist, clarity, and surface texture.
