This 1.18gr specimen (1.9x0.8x0.7cm) from the Wessels Mine, South Africa. Sugilite is a potassium sodium lithium iron manganese silicate forming in manganese-rich environments, first identified in Japan in 1944 by petrologist Kenichi Sugi. Each specimen is completely natural and unique.

Traditionally associated with spiritual awareness and inner strength, linked to the Third Eye and Crown Chakras to support intuition, clarity, and deeper reflection.

Pyrite Pseudomorph after Pyrrhotite Specimen | 1kg | Trepča, Yugoslavia

An excellent example of a pyrite pseudomorph after pyrrhotite from the Trepča mining district of former Yugoslavia. Pyrite has gradually replaced the original pyrrhotite while preserving its crystal shape and structure — a visually distinctive and scientifically fascinating piece. Sold as seen.

Size: 10.5x8x7.5cm. Weight: 1kg. Best suited for display or collection rather than handling.

The surface displays metallic bronze to gold tones typical of pyrite, with textured crystal faces reflecting its replacement history. Pseudomorphs are valued for showing clear evidence of mineral transformation, where chemical conditions change but the original form remains intact.

Please note: This specimen comes from an older collection and has a firm protective foam material attached to the base, visible in the photographs and left in place to preserve the integrity of the specimen.
