Rough Turquoise from the Kingman Mine in Arizona — one of the most celebrated turquoise localities in the world, and a name that carries real weight among collectors and jewellers alike. These pieces were handpicked at the Tucson Gem Show, chosen intuitively for their colour, character, and energy.

The shades shift across the batch: from a strong, saturated sky blue through to a softer, greener blue — the kind of variation that makes each piece genuinely individual. The surface is raw and natural, with the texture and matrix that only rough material has. Small in size at 1–2cm, but full of presence.

Average weight is 3.5 grams per piece.

Turquoise is one of the oldest protective stones in human history — carried by warriors, worn by healers, and revered across cultures from the ancient Egyptians to the Native American peoples of the Southwest. Kingman Turquoise in particular has been mined for over a century and is prized for its consistent, vivid colour. From Kharan District in Balochistan, Pakistan — one of the world's most significant sources of dark fluorite, known for its exceptional cubic formation and depth of colour.

A substantial cluster of intergrown cubic fluorite in a deep, near-opaque smoky charcoal-grey, each face carrying a mirror-like lustre that shifts between graphite and cool aubergine as the light moves across it. The crystals are large and well-defined, stacked in overlapping layers that create a sculptural, architectural quality. The reverse reveals warm copper and russet matrix, a striking contrast to the cool tones of the front face. At 349.98g and spanning 9.5 × 6.8 × 4.4cm, this is a display-grade piece with real presence.

A heart carved from agate geode material, revealing a full druzy amethyst crystal face on one side and a polished, translucent agate back on the other.

The front face is covered entirely in a dense crust of small amethyst points in soft lilac and pale violet, graduating to a deeper purple at the centre where the crystal growth is most concentrated. The back is smooth and glassy — cool grey agate with a natural vein of white chalcedony and sandy matrix running across it in an irregular arc, exposing the raw interior of the geode where the two worlds meet. Held to the light, the agate back becomes semi-translucent, revealing the depth of the stone beneath the crystal surface.
