A near-kilogram malachite stalactite from the Democratic Republic of Congo — one of the world's great copper-belt localities and the source of some of the finest malachite specimens in existence.

The surface is covered entirely in tightly packed botryoidal orbs ranging from small, intricate formations to large, rounded domes, all in a vivid, saturated emerald green. Each orb has a characteristic concentric centre, visible across the specimen, giving the surface an almost cellular quality. At the top, a natural cavity reveals a cluster of druzy crystals in silver-grey — a striking contrast to the green exterior. The reverse shows the raw, unformed underside of the stalactite, with pale matrix and additional malachite growth.

Malachite is a powerful stone of transformation, heart healing, and protection. It draws out emotional patterns, supports change, and is closely associated with the heart chakra. Dulcote Agate is one of Britain's most visually striking agates, quarried from a single site near Wells in Somerset. Each slice is a one-off — no two are alike.

These slices display the full drama of Dulcote's signature patterning: vivid brick-red and terracotta banding sweeps across a ground of cream and pale lavender chalcedony, punctuated by orbicular eye formations, fine white lace lines, and in some pieces, a central druzy quartz cavity that catches light like a geode. The polished faces are glassy and smooth; the natural edges retain the raw, unworked rind of the original nodule.
