Cobaltoan Calcite with Malachite from the Democratic Republic of Congo — one of the most visually striking mineral combinations in the natural world, with deep raspberry-pink calcite crystals dusted in vivid emerald-green malachite micro-crystals.

Each piece shares the same dramatic character: tightly packed rhombohedral cobaltoan calcite crystals in a rich, saturated raspberry to crimson-pink, densely coated with bright emerald-green malachite that sits in the recesses and across the crystal faces like a fine dusting of colour. The reverse of each piece reveals the raw grey-white matrix — striated, layered, and sparkly — showing the natural cleavage of the host rock. The contrast between the vivid mineral face and the pale matrix reverse is striking. Three pieces available, each unique in form and balance of colour — choose your piece below.

A near-kilogram malachite stalactite from the Democratic Republic of Congo — one of the world's great copper-belt localities and the source of some of the finest malachite specimens in existence.

The surface is covered entirely in tightly packed botryoidal orbs ranging from small, intricate formations to large, rounded domes, all in a vivid, saturated emerald green. Each orb has a characteristic concentric centre, visible across the specimen, giving the surface an almost cellular quality. At the top, a natural cavity reveals a cluster of druzy crystals in silver-grey — a striking contrast to the green exterior. The reverse shows the raw, unformed underside of the stalactite, with pale matrix and additional malachite growth.

Malachite is a powerful stone of transformation, heart healing, and protection. It draws out emotional patterns, supports change, and is closely associated with the heart chakra. The colour story on this one is exceptional: sweeping stripes of salmon pink, warm yellow, and touches of deep red flow through the stone, punctuated by zones of water-clear Quartz that catch the light beautifully. The base features a natural white and pale pink druzy pocket — fine crystalline growth that adds texture and sparkle against the smooth polished body of the flame.

Apricot Agate is a banded variety of Chalcedony, a microcrystalline form of Quartz, whose warm apricot, salmon, and yellow tones come from iron oxide and manganese inclusions deposited in fine rhythmic layers as silica-rich fluids slowly filled cavities in volcanic rock. The banding pattern is formed by the Liesegang process, a natural chemical oscillation that produces the concentric or parallel stripes characteristic of all Agates. The druzy feature forms where the final cavity space was too small for larger crystals to grow, leaving a glittering crust of tiny Quartz points instead.
