Early-find Ocean Jasper is notably more translucent than later material, and you can see that quality here: the colours have a luminous, almost glowing quality rather than the opacity of more recent pieces.

The colouring moves through the stone in a long, unhurried sweep — from deep red at one end, through cool blue-grey in the middle, and out into warm ochre yellow at the other. On one side there is a tiny pocket of druzy, a small cluster of sparkling crystalline texture that catches the light and adds a quiet detail to an already characterful piece.

Acquired from an old private collection, this Ocean Jasper palmstone is one of those pieces that rewards a slow look. At first glance it reads as a beautifully banded agate — and it is — but spend a moment with it and the details reveal themselves one by one.

The banding is classic Ocean Jasper: smooth, flowing agate layers in warm tones punctuated by vivid red accents that catch the light and pull the eye. Scattered across the surface are druzy pockets where the mineral opened up during formation, leaving tiny crystalline orbs glittering in the cavities — the signature orbicular texture that makes Ocean Jasper unlike any other Jasper variety. Green Fuchsite Palmstones | 6cm | India

Polished Fuchsite palmstones from India in a deep, rich green — the kind of saturated colour that makes this mineral so immediately striking. Each piece is intuitively chosen for you. The red Hematite inclusions form separately within the same rock, and pieces that contain both mineral they are particularly sought after for the visual contrast they offer.

Lapis Lazuli is a metamorphic rock rather than a single mineral, formed when limestone is transformed by intense heat and pressure in contact with igneous intrusions. Its colour comes primarily from Lazurite, a sodalite-group mineral, and the gold flecks are natural Pyrite — iron sulphide — that crystallises within the matrix during metamorphism. The white veining, where present, is Calcite. The Madani mines in Afghanistan have been producing Lapis Lazuli for over 6,000 years and remain the source of the finest material in the world, prized for its intense, saturated blue and well-distributed Pyrite.

Hand carved, with a point at the top that is not perfectly straight — a characteristic of the hand carving process rather than a flaw, and part of what makes this a genuinely handmade piece. Rose Quartz is a variety of Quartz coloured by microscopic inclusions of a fibrous mineral, most likely dumortierite or a related silicate, which scatter light and produce the characteristic pink. These palmstones measure approximately 4 to 5cm and originate from India. Kämmererite is a chromium-rich variety of Clinochlore, a phyllosilicate mineral belonging to the Chlorite group. Its vivid magenta to purple-red coloration is produced by chromium substituting for aluminium within the layered silicate structure — the same element responsible for the red of Ruby and the green of Emerald, producing an entirely different colour here due to the distinct crystal chemistry of the Chlorite host. A striking 198.5g Blue Baryte specimen measuring 81x85x35mm, from the renowned Cavnic Mine in Romania. The side profile reveals the raw sandy matrix underneath, showing clearly how the blue crystals have grown outward from the host rock. Blue Baryte is a barium sulfate mineral in the Barite group, with its characteristic steel blue colouring attributed to trace elements within the crystal structure, and a Mohs hardness of just 3 to 3.5 that gives its crystals their distinctive thin bladed habit.

This 103g specimen (67x57x37mm) displays the characteristic bright yellow-green to green Adamite crystals that Mina Ojuela is celebrated for. Adamite forms as a secondary mineral in the oxidation zones of zinc-rich ore deposits, where arsenic-bearing solutions react with zinc minerals under specific geological conditions. The result is a mineral of striking colour and excellent crystal form, highly prized by collectors worldwide.

A deeply characterful sphere in soft candy pink, with delicate Flower Agate circles across the surface and a large open druzy cavity lined with sparkling white Quartz crystals at its heart.

This 317.5g sphere (6.2cm diameter) formed within geode cavities in Patagonian volcanic rock. The rose hue comes from iron inclusions during crystallisation, with the Flower Agate and Quartz druzy developing naturally within the same host rock. Areas of fine sugary druzy texture across the surface add to its tactile appeal.

Pink Amethyst fosters warmth, calm, and inner peace. Flower Agate encourages growth and new beginnings, while the open druzy cavity amplifies the sphere's energy outward.
