This 1.65gr specimen (1.6x1.1x1cm) from the Wessels Mine, South Africa. Sugilite is a potassium sodium lithium iron manganese silicate forming in manganese-rich environments, first documented in Japan in 1944 by petrologist Kenichi Sugi. Each specimen is completely natural and unique.

Charoite is a rare potassium calcium sodium silicate formed through complex metamorphic processes in Siberia, Russia. Tinaksite (calcium titanium silicate) and Aegirine (sodium iron silicate) commonly occur alongside Charoite, contributing to its striking mineral combination. Mohs hardness 5–6.

Ajoite Specimen | 36mm | Messina, South Africa | sold as seen

Mined from the legendary Messina copper deposits in Limpopo — one of the only localities in the world to produce gem-quality ajoite.

A freeform free-standing specimen coated in a dense crust of botryoidal ajoite clusters. The colour ranges from pale mint at the base to saturated robin's-egg teal at the crown, with the characteristic powdery, almost chalky surface texture of ajoite breaking into small crystalline protrusions. The quartz matrix beneath shows through at the edges in milky white. Under light, the surface has a subtle silky sheen across the druzy faces.

Barite on Malachite | 66mm | Shangulowe Mine, DR Congo

From the Shangulowe Mine in Kambove, one of the Democratic Republic of Congo’s most celebrated copper belt localities — a source renowned for producing some of the finest malachite specimens in the world.

The front face is densely covered in vivid emerald-green botryoidal malachite — tightly packed orbs with characteristic concentric banding visible at the centres, ranging from deep forest green to bright translucent teal at the edges. Interspersed throughout are colourless to white barite crystals, their glassy tabular faces catching the light against the matte-velvet malachite surface. The reverse shows the raw underside of the specimen: banded malachite in sweeping teal and green layers, with a more earthy, unpolished character. Presented on an acrylic museum-style display stand.

A heart chakra stone of considerable presence, malachite is associated with transformation, protection, and emotional clarity — drawing out what no longer serves and amplifying the capacity for change. A substantial and beautifully formed Indochinite tektite from the Indochinese Peninsula — one of the most prolific tektite strewn fields on Earth, produced by a meteorite impact event approximately 790,000 years ago.

Deep jet-black throughout, this piece has the characteristic sculpted, flow-textured surface of a well-preserved Indochinite — ridged, pitted, and rippled from its violent journey through the atmosphere. The form is elongated and rounded, sitting comfortably in the hand, with a subtle glassy sheen where the texture smooths between the deeper grooves. At 53.2g it is a notably weighty example for its size.

Indochinites are a natural glass formed when a large meteorite impact melts and ejects terrestrial rock, which then solidifies during atmospheric flight.
