From the Shangulowe Mine in Kambove, one of the Democratic Republic of Congo’s most celebrated copper belt localities — a source renowned for producing some of the finest malachite specimens in the world.

A chunky, three-dimensional specimen with a dramatic crown of upright barite needle clusters erupting from the top face. The barite crystals are elongated and translucent, coated in fine emerald-green malachite that gives them a vivid, almost iridescent quality. The lower portion is dominated by a dense, earthy iron-oxide matrix in warm ochre and russet tones, with pockets of glassy barite and malachite growth visible throughout. The reverse is raw and unworked, showing the full depth of the host matrix. Presented on an acrylic museum-style display stand.

A heart chakra stone of considerable presence, malachite is associated with transformation, protection, and emotional clarity — drawing out what no longer serves and amplifying the capacity for change. Stichtite from South Africa, one of only a handful of locations worldwide where this rare chromium carbonate mineral occurs in collectable quality.

Each tumblestone displays vivid violet-to-magenta colouring set against a dark olive-green serpentinite matrix, the two minerals having formed together in ancient ultramafic rock. The contrast is striking bright purple rosettes bleeding into the stone's green host like watercolour on wet paper. Surfaces are smooth and well-polished, with a gentle waxy lustre.

Stichtite is deeply calming, associated with the Heart and Crown Chakras and known for supporting emotional resilience, compassion, and the release of stubbornness. A nurturing stone for times of transition.
