Each mineral records a different stage of growth within the pegmatitic formation.

The characteristic star and feather-like patterns are the preserved skeletal structures of coral polyps, their intricate geometry locked in stone over millions of years of gradual mineralisation. It is composed of calcium carbonate (CaCO₃), hardness 3–4 Mohs. Handle with care — fossilised coral is fragile and should not be dropped or knocked against harder surfaces.
