What to expect? Of course, we will not tell you exactly what is in the boxes but here is rough guide of the content.

Charoite is one of the rarest minerals on Earth, found in only one location: the Murun massif in Siberia, Russia, along the Chara River from which it takes its name. It is a complex potassium calcium sodium silicate that forms through the metamorphism of limestone by alkaline igneous intrusions, a geologically unusual process that produces its characteristic swirling fibrous structure. The violet colour, which ranges from pale lavender to deep purple, is intrinsic to the mineral itself. Dark inclusions of Aegirine and golden-orange Tinaksite are common and add to the visual complexity of each piece.

Astrophyllite Cabochon | 31mm | Russia

The base is a creamy off-white feldspar, smooth and domed to a high polish. Set within it are bold, blade-like astrophyllite crystals in deep bronze-black — some running the full width of the cab in sweeping diagonal strokes, others clustering in shorter, denser groupings. From the Tharsis mining district of Andalusia, Spain — one of the world's foremost localities for iridescent goethite.

A substantial, blocky specimen with a fully botryoidal surface built from large, rounded orbs in deep burgundy and iron-black. This Permineralised wood specimen measures approximately 5.7cm and comes from Zwenkau near Leipzig, Germany. Dating to the Eocene period, around 35 million years old, it preserves ancient wood through natural mineral replacement.

During fossilisation, mineral rich water replaced the original wood while retaining its grain and structure. Fine mineral crystals formed in this process can create a subtle natural shimmer as light reflects across the fossilised surface.
