A permineralised wood specimen from Zwenkau, Leipzig, Germany, where millions of years of silicification have transformed ancient timber into solid mineral, with every grain, knot, and bark ridge preserved in extraordinary detail.

Deep chocolate-brown throughout, the surface retains the full texture of the original wood: vertical grain lines run the length of the piece, a natural concave profile at the crown echoes the living tree's form, and the outer bark edge is intact on one side. Catch it in direct light and the surface comes alive with a fine copper-gold mineral sparkle, iron pyrite or goethite dusting embedded within the silica matrix. The contrast between the rough, fibrous bark face and the smoother inner wood face gives this piece real sculptural presence.

Permineralised Wood carries the energy of deep time, patience, grounding, and ancestral connection. It works with the Root and Earth Star Chakras, making it a powerful anchor for meditation or a statement piece for any collection.

A large and deeply fascinating Grape Agate specimen that reveals more the longer you look at it. The formation appears layered — as though built up over time in distinct stages — giving the piece a wonderful geological complexity that sets it apart.

One side features small, delicate spheres in a mix of soft purple and deep purple, partially crystallised and partially matte, with natural white matrix showing through the surface. The interplay of textures and tones here is subtle and beautiful.

Flip the piece and the character shifts entirely: larger spheres take over, bolder and more defined, with more prominent white matrix running through — a striking contrast that makes this a truly two-sided specimen worth exploring from every angle.

A statement piece that looks spectacular on a specimen stand — the kind of piece that anchors a shelf or display and draws the eye immediately.

Tisbury Starstone Freeform Cabochon | 4.2cm | UK

A particularly interesting Tisbury Starstone cabochon from Wiltshire, UK, and one that rewards close looking. The shape is a tapering rectangle — one edge wider than the other — and the piece has been carved at a slight angle through the coral structure, which means the surface reveals both the classic circular star patterns and the fine feathering effect of the coral's radiating internal structure simultaneously. It is the kind of cut that only happens when the carver works with the stone rather than against it, and the result is a piece with more visual depth than a straightforward face-on cut would produce. One piece, sold as seen.

Tisbury Starstone is a fossilised coral found exclusively in the ancient soils of Tisbury, Wiltshire, formed approximately 145 million years ago during the Late Jurassic period when this part of England lay beneath a warm, shallow sea. The star patterns are cross-sections through the coral polyp structures, while the feathering reveals the same structures cut at a different angle — both visible here in the same piece because of the sideways orientation of the carve. It is composed of calcium carbonate (CaCO₃), hardness 3–4 Mohs. Handle with care — fossilised coral is fragile and should not be dropped or knocked against harder surfaces.

Spiritually, Tisbury Starstone is associated with the Crown Chakra, celestial connection, and ancient wisdom. It is said to act as a bridge between the earthly and the ethereal, inviting clarity, higher awareness, and a sense of wonder at the deep continuity of life on Earth.

Origin: Tisbury, Wiltshire, UK
Size: Approximately 4.2cm (tapering rectangle, partially sideways carve — see photos)
Crystal meaning: Illumination, clarity, spiritual connection, ancient wisdom
Water cleanse: No — calcium carbonate is sensitive to moisture and acids. Cleanse with moonlight, sound, or smoke instead.

Please note: Display case not included. Stands and display cases can be purchased separately from our Stands & Accessories section.

Malachite Stalactite Specimen | 203g | Zaire-Congo

A substantial Malachite stalactite specimen weighing 203g from Zaire, Congo, naturally resting on its side and showcasing dense crystallisation that adds texture, sparkle, and depth to the overall formation. One available. Sold as seen.

Originating from copper-rich deposits, the stalactite formed as mineral-laden solutions slowly deposited layers of Malachite over time. The crystallisation in this specimen is especially well developed, with Malachite's fibrous microcrystalline structure creating a notable shimmer as light reflects off the layered bands. Stalactite specimens such as this clearly reveal the mineral's growth process and are particularly valued by collectors for their geological character and rarity.

Traditionally associated with transformation and awareness, Malachite is linked to the Heart and Throat Chakras and is often chosen to support emotional growth and clearer self-expression.

Origin: Zaire, Congo
Crystal meaning: Transformation, awareness, emotional growth
Water cleanse: Not suitable. Clean gently with a soft dry cloth only.

Tisbury Starstone Freeform Cabochon | 4.8cm | UK

A striking Tisbury Starstone cabochon from Wiltshire, UK, with a distinctive sail-like shape — one edge straight, one gently rounded — that gives this piece an elegant, architectural quality. The star patterns on this piece are bold and strongly defined, some of the clearest coral structure we have seen in this material. One piece, sold as seen.

Tisbury Starstone is a fossilised coral found exclusively in the ancient soils of Tisbury, Wiltshire, formed approximately 145 million years ago during the Late Jurassic period when this part of England lay beneath a warm, shallow sea. The characteristic star-like patterns are the preserved skeletal structures of coral polyps, their intricate geometry locked in stone over millions of years of gradual mineralisation.

Ammonite From Madagascar with Pyrite 10.5cm

This Ammonite fossil from Madagascar measures approximately 10.5cm and features naturally occurring Pyrite mineralisation within the ancient shell structure. The Pyrite formed when iron rich fluids replaced or filled cavities in the fossil over geological time.

Ammonites are extinct marine cephalopods belonging to the subclass Ammonoidea, which lived in Earth’s oceans from the Devonian period around 400 million years ago until their extinction at the end of the Cretaceous period approximately 66 million years ago. Their distinctive spiral shells make them important index fossils, widely used in geological dating and palaeontological study.

This specimen represents a rare combination of fossil preservation and secondary mineral formation, making it both scientifically significant and highly collectable.

Ammonite carries the wisdom of ancient oceans, gently guiding transformation, balance and new beginnings through its timeless spiral energy.

Please note: This piece is sold as seen and does not include a stand. Stands can be purchased separately from our Stands and Accessories collection.

Due to the presence of Pyrite and the fossil’s natural structure, this specimen is not suitable for water cleansing. Handle with care and clean gently using a soft dry brush or cloth only.

Thousand Layer Quartz, also known as Landscape Quartz, forms through a process of mineral-rich solutions infiltrating rock cavities. As these solutions crystallise, layers of quartz gradually build up on nucleation sites, creating intricate patterns resembling landscapes. Born of the Earth's embrace and the dance of Silicon and Oxygen, Thousand Layer Quartz resonates harmoniously with the ethereal Crown Chakra. A conduit of divine energies, it channels the lunar influence of the Moon, inviting celestial insights and heightened awareness into one's being.

This 183g specimen (9.4x6x2.5cm) from Les Courtes in the Talèfre Basin of the Mont Blanc Massif, France displays the characteristic twisted growth that defines a true Gwindel, where the Quartz develops with a gentle rotational structure rather than forming straight prismatic points. Natural Chlorite inclusions are visible as soft green mineral traces within the crystal, reflecting the mineral-rich Alpine fissure environment in which it formed.
