Rough Turquoise from the Kingman Mine in Arizona — one of the most celebrated turquoise localities in the world, and a name that carries real weight among collectors and jewellers alike. These pieces were handpicked at the Tucson Gem Show, chosen intuitively for their colour, character, and energy.

The shades shift across the batch: from a strong, saturated sky blue through to a softer, greener blue — the kind of variation that makes each piece genuinely individual. The surface is raw and natural, with the texture and matrix that only rough material has. At 3–4cm, these are generous, substantial pieces — beautiful to hold, display, or work with in practice.

Average weight is 20 grams per piece. Please note that one piece in this batch has a large quartz attachment, adding to its character and collectibility.

Lapis Lazuli is one of the oldest decorative stones in human history, prized by the Ancient Egyptians, Sumerians, and Mesopotamian civilisations for its intense royal blue. The colour comes from Lazurite, a sodalite-group mineral that forms through the metamorphism of limestone under intense heat and pressure. The golden flecks are natural Pyrite, and the pale veining is Calcite — both characteristic of genuine Lapis Lazuli. Indian material tends toward a rich, slightly varied blue with generous Pyrite, giving each egg its own character.

Chrysocolla is a hydrated copper aluminium silicate that forms as a secondary mineral through the weathering of copper ore deposits. Its vivid blue to green colouring is a direct result of its copper content, and it commonly develops alongside Malachite, Azurite, and Quartz.

A beautifully polished Pietersite heart, intuitively chosen for you from a carefully selected batch. Pietersite is one of the most visually dramatic stones available — and in heart form, its stormy, swirling energy feels particularly fitting.

The base is a deep blue-black, shot through with fibrous chatoyant bands of midnight blue, steel grey, and warm amber-brown. Under light the surface shifts and shimmers like a storm caught in stone — no two pieces display the same pattern. High, even polish with a flat back for easy display or comfortable palm-holding.

Pietersite is a brecciated aggregate of hawk’s eye (blue crocidolite) and tiger’s eye (golden crocidolite pseudomorphed by quartz), bound together in a chalcedony matrix. The fibrous structure creates strong chatoyancy, and the brecciation produces the swirling, storm-like patterning the stone is known for. First described in 1962 by Sid Pieters, it is sourced from Namibia.

Blue Cap Tourmaline with Green Tourmaline | 3.58g | Brazil

A naturally terminated Blue Cap Tourmaline crystal from Brazil — a single crystal exhibiting two distinct colour zones in one unbroken form.

The crystal is predominantly deep forest green with strong vertical striations running the length of the prism faces — characteristic of tourmaline's trigonal growth. The terminal cap shifts to a cool blue-grey, clearly distinct from the green body and visible from all angles. Held to a torch, the interior glows with translucency, revealing the depth of colour within. At 22 × 9 × 9mm it is a small but complete and well-formed specimen, displayed here on an acrylic stand, attached with white tag which can easily be removed.
