A truly exceptional Rhodonite & Rhodochrosite tower from Peru — at 39cm tall and 4.4kg, this is a centrepiece piece in every sense.

The surface is a warm, saturated rose-pink, threaded throughout with swirling white veins of calcite matrix and punctuated by sharp black manganese oxide dendrites. The patterning is dense and complex — no two areas of the tower look the same. The base is broad and stable at 8.2cm, tapering to a crisp 4cm point at the apex, with a high, even polish that brings out the full depth of colour across all four faces.

Rhodonite is a manganese inosilicate mineral (MnSiO₃) that forms in metamorphic environments, often alongside rhodochrosite (MnCO₃), a manganese carbonate. The two minerals share a similar manganese-rich chemistry producing their characteristic pink-to-rose colouration. The black veining is manganese oxide, formed as the minerals oxidised over time. Peru — particularly the Uchucchacua and Huaron mining regions — is one of the world’s premier sources of this material.

From an old private collection — a delicate, gem-quality Verdelite crystal with a rich blue-green hue and impressive natural form for its size.

The crystal presents as a broad, blocky prism with well-defined faces and strong vertical striations along the body. The colour is a deep teal-green — saturated and consistent throughout, with a cooler blue shift visible from certain angles, characteristic of high-iron Verdelite. Under direct light the interior reveals excellent translucency and glassy clarity. Natural surface textures and minor growth features are present, consistent with its natural, unpolished state.

This 1.1kg specimen (125x75mm) originates from the Madani mines of Afghanistan, where Lapis Lazuli has been actively mined for over 6,000 years. The polished egg form reveals the stone's characteristic deep blue in full, punctuated by shimmering flecks of golden Pyrite and pale veins of Calcite running through the matrix. Lapis Lazuli forms through the metamorphism of limestone, where Lazurite develops alongside Calcite and Pyrite under intense heat and pressure deep within the Earth. A substantial self-standing ocean jasper tower from Madagascar, with an exceptional density of orbicular patterning across all four faces.

The body is a rich interplay of deep burgundy-brown and warm salmon-pink, covered in tightly packed spherical orbs ranging from fine pinhead clusters to larger, clearly defined circles with pale cream centres. Pale blue-grey chalcedony veins cut diagonally across the faces in sweeping bands — a hallmark of high-quality ocean jasper — providing cool contrast against the warm iron-red ground. A pocket of olive-green mineral sits mid-body on the reverse face, adding an unexpected third colour to the composition. A near-kilogram malachite stalactite from the Democratic Republic of Congo — one of the world's great copper-belt localities and the source of some of the finest malachite specimens in existence.

The surface is covered entirely in tightly packed botryoidal orbs ranging from small, intricate formations to large, rounded domes, all in a vivid, saturated emerald green. Each orb has a characteristic concentric centre, visible across the specimen, giving the surface an almost cellular quality. At the top, a natural cavity reveals a cluster of druzy crystals in silver-grey — a striking contrast to the green exterior. The reverse shows the raw, unformed underside of the stalactite, with pale matrix and additional malachite growth.

Malachite is a powerful stone of transformation, heart healing, and protection. It draws out emotional patterns, supports change, and is closely associated with the heart chakra. This Vanadinite specimen originates from the Aouli Mine in Mibladen, Morocco, a locality internationally recognised for producing some of the world’s finest Vanadinite crystals. The specimen displays rich red to orange tones with naturally formed hexagonal crystal shapes and a bright, lustrous surface.

Vanadinite is a lead vanadate mineral belonging to the Vanadate group and structurally related to the Apatite group. It forms as a secondary mineral within the oxidation zones of lead ore deposits, where vanadium rich fluids react with existing lead minerals. Crystals develop in the hexagonal crystal system and are known for their strong colour saturation and high density.
