A beautifully kite-shaped Tisbury Starstone cabochon from Wiltshire, UK, the 4.1cm measurement runs point to point, following the shape of the stone rather than a standard width or length. Tisbury Starstone is a fossilised coral found exclusively in the ancient soils of Tisbury, Wiltshire, formed approximately 145 million years ago during the Late Jurassic period when this part of England lay beneath a warm, shallow sea. The characteristic star and feather-like patterns are the preserved skeletal structures of coral polyps, their intricate geometry locked in stone over millions of years of gradual mineralisation. It is composed of calcium carbonate (CaCO₃), hardness 3–4 Mohs. Handle with care — fossilised coral is fragile and should not be dropped or knocked against harder surfaces.

Spiritually, Tisbury Starstone is associated with the Crown Chakra, celestial connection, and ancient wisdom. It is said to act as a bridge between the earthly and the ethereal, inviting clarity, higher awareness, and a sense of wonder at the deep continuity of life on Earth.

Smokey Quartz forms when natural radiation interacts with Quartz, while Tourmaline develops in mineral-rich environments where Iron, Magnesium, and Lithium contribute to its colour variation.

Turquoise Rough | 1-2cm | Kingman Mine, Arizona, USA

Rough Turquoise from the Kingman Mine in Arizona — one of the most celebrated turquoise localities in the world, and a name that carries real weight among collectors and jewellers alike. These pieces were handpicked at the Tucson Gem Show, chosen intuitively for their colour, character, and energy.

The shades shift across the batch: from a strong, saturated sky blue through to a softer, greener blue — the kind of variation that makes each piece genuinely individual. The surface is raw and natural, with the texture and matrix that only rough material has. Small in size at 1–2cm, but full of presence.

Average weight is 3.5 grams per piece.

From an old private collection — a striking Indicolite specimen with vivid teal-blue tourmaline crystals set within a contrasting quartz matrix.

The specimen presents as a chunky, irregular piece with patches of bright teal-blue Indicolite concentrated across the upper face, shifting from a cool aqua-blue to a deeper inky teal depending on the angle. White quartz fills the surrounding groundmass, creating a bold contrast against the vivid blue crystal zones. The surface has a granular, sparkly texture with natural fracture faces and rough edges consistent with its natural, unpolished state.

A compact yet characterful cluster of warm amber fluorite cubes intergrown with baryte, presenting a rich depth of colour in a highly displayable form. Sourced from the Xiefang Mine, Jiangxi, China.

Deep honey-amber and golden-brown fluorite crystals rise in stacked, interlocking cubes, their faces carrying a high vitreous lustre with strong internal translucency. The colour shifts from bright yellow-gold at the crystal edges to a deeper tobacco-brown at the cores, reflecting natural colour zoning within the lattice. Cream baryte matrix fills the spaces between crystals, its granular texture providing contrast against the smooth, geometric fluorite faces. The reverse shows raw cleavage planes and a chalky base matrix.

Each cab shares the same creamy off-white feldspar base, polished to a smooth dome. Astrophyllite inclusions appear as bold, blade-like crystals in deep black and dark brown, sweeping across the face in broad diagonal strokes with warm copper-bronze metallic flash catching the light between them. Each piece has its own distinct arrangement of inclusions — no two are identical. The reverse is flat and unpolished.

Flower Agate Flame | 9.5cm | Madagascar

A gorgeous one-off Flower Agate flame from Madagascar with an unusually deep, rusty orange base colour — a striking departure from the pale pink most Flower Agate displays, and one of the most distinctive examples of this stone we have had in. The plume formations are bold and clearly defined, standing out beautifully against the warm, earthy base. One piece, sold as seen.

Flower Agate is a variety of Chalcedony discovered in Madagascar in 2018. The flower-like formations are three-dimensional plumes of opaque Chalcedony suspended within a translucent base, visible from the surface as petal-shaped inclusions that genuinely resemble blossoms frozen in stone. The orange and rusty tones in this piece come from iron oxide present during crystallisation — the same chemistry that colours many Agates and Jaspers, here producing something genuinely unusual within the Flower Agate family.

Associated with growth, self-discovery, and the courage to bloom, Flower Agate resonates with the Heart Chakra and supports emotional confidence and the release of self-doubt.

Marston Marble Freeform 1.6KG, Lower Jurassic, UK

This Marston Marble freeform stands naturally on its own, making it an excellent display piece without the need for additional support. Sourced from Marston Magna in Somerset, within the Lower Jurassic Obtusum Zone, this fossil rich limestone formed around 200 million years ago in an ancient marine environment.

Marston Marble is not a true marble, but a sedimentary limestone distinguished by its abundance of fossilised ammonites. This piece contains a natural mix of Lower Jurassic ammonite forms, including Promicroceras, Asteroceras, Cymbites, Xipheroceras and related species.  Marston Marble is traditionally associated with grounding, stability and continuity, symbolising endurance and the long rhythms of natural cycles. 

The freeform has been carefully hand polished to reveal the fossil detail while maintaining the stone’s organic character. Please Note: Light hand polishing marks may be present please refer to the photographs for clarity.

Marston Marble is safe for gentle water contact, though cleaning is best carried out with a soft dry or lightly damp cloth rather than prolonged immersion.
