Found almost exclusively in the Magaliesberg region of South Africa, it ranges in colour from pale lavender through to deep violet-amethyst, often with warm iron oxide tones running through the matrix.

A rare find from one of England's own mineral localities — Devonian-matrix wavellite with exceptional botryoidal coverage.

The face is densely populated with olive-green to khaki botryoidal orbs, their surfaces dimpled and clustered in tight formations across a charcoal-grey matrix. Copper-brown gossan staining bleeds between the clusters, adding warmth and geological depth. Flip the piece and you're rewarded with silvery-white stellate sprays — fan-like radiating crystal bursts scattered across the opposing face, a classic wavellite growth habit rarely seen this clearly.

Wavellite is associated with clarity of decision-making and releasing what no longer serves. A grounding stone with an intellectual edge — well-suited to those drawn to the quieter, more cerebral end of the mineral kingdom.

A well-formed dravite crystal with a clean, upright habit and a striking deep brown/black colour — a textbook example of tourmaline's characteristic prismatic form.

The piece is deep, opaque brown with strong vertical striations running the full length of the prism faces and a naturally stepped termination at the top. The reverse shows a more complex, etched surface with pale white matrix threading through the cleavage — a contrast that highlights the crystal's natural growth history. The base is raw and unworked. At 3.2 × 2.9 × 1.7cm it stands confidently upright on its included acrylic display stand, secured with a small amount of white tack that is easily removed.

A polished amphibole quartz tower from Brazil, densely packed with fibrous mineral inclusions that give this piece its extraordinary depth of colour and pattern.

The body is a rich interplay of deep rust-red, warm olive-green, and golden-brown fibrous streaks running diagonally through a translucent quartz host. The inclusions — a mix of actinolite, hornblende, and iron oxide minerals — create a layered, almost painterly effect, with no two faces showing the same arrangement.
