A naturally terminated Blue Cap Tourmaline crystal from Brazil — a single crystal exhibiting two distinct colour zones in one unbroken form.
The crystal is predominantly deep forest green with strong vertical striations running the length of the prism faces — characteristic of tourmaline's trigonal growth. The terminal cap shifts to a cool blue-grey, clearly distinct from the green body and visible from all angles. Held to a torch, the interior glows with translucency, revealing the depth of colour within. A rare bi-colour tourmaline from Brazil, displaying distinct pink terminations at both ends with a deep forest-green body running through the centre — the green is most visible along the upper edge where the crystal thins and light passes through more cleanly.

From an old private collection — a slender, gem-quality Verdelite crystal with excellent prismatic form and a fresh, leafy green colour with a subtle blue shift.
The crystal is an elongated prism with clearly defined faces and strong vertical striations running the full length of the body. Carnelian Heart with White Quartz Druzy | 6cm | Brazil

This 71.2g Carnelian heart (51x60x20mm) from Brazil is carved to reveal a stunning open white Quartz druzy cavity at its centre. The outer shell is a gorgeous warm honey-orange Carnelian, smooth and glassy on the reverse, while the face opens to expose sparkling white Quartz crystals that catch the light with a bright, clean shimmer. Both Carnelian and Quartz are varieties of silica, with Carnelian coloured by iron oxide inclusions and the white Quartz druzy forming within natural cavities during hydrothermal processes.
