This 169g sphere (4.7cm diameter) from India displays the signature colouring that makes Kämmererite one of the most sought after collector minerals in the world. Kämmererite is a chromium-rich variety of Clinochlore, a member of the Chlorite mineral group, the presence of chromium within its layered silicate structure producing its distinctive purple and pink hues against the natural green of the host mineral.
