Seriphos Quartz forms within metamorphic rocks that have been altered by intense heat and pressure deep within the Earth. During this process, hot mineral rich fluids move through fractures in the rock and begin to crystallise. The colouring can range from soft pale green to deep olive or even bluish tones depending on the specific balance of mineral inclusions and geological conditions at the time of formation.
