Ocean Jasper Palmstone | 6.7cm | Madagascar | Old Collection

Acquired from an old private collection, this Ocean Jasper palmstone is one of those pieces that rewards a slow look. At first glance it reads as a beautifully banded agate — and it is — but spend a moment with it and the details reveal themselves one by one.

The banding is classic Ocean Jasper: smooth, flowing agate layers in warm tones punctuated by vivid red accents that catch the light and pull the eye. Scattered across the surface are druzy pockets where the mineral opened up during formation, leaving tiny crystalline orbs glittering in the cavities — the signature orbicular texture that makes Ocean Jasper unlike any other Jasper variety. And then there is the quartz window: a small area of translucent Quartz that lets light pass through, giving the piece a luminous quality that photographs cannot fully capture.

This is a one-of-a-kind specimen from a time when pieces like this were collected for the love of the stone, not for the market. It shows.

Triple Stalactite Malachite | 6.5cm | DRC

A rare triple stalactite Malachite formation with a soft velvety texture, completely individual.

This 168g specimen (6.5x5.5x4.5cm) from the Democratic Republic of Congo features three naturally formed stalactite structures, each developing over time as mineral-rich solutions dripped and deposited within copper-bearing rock. The surface displays a soft velvety texture from fine fibrous crystal growth, with characteristic banding visible at the raw edges recording each stage of growth. Triple formations like this are less common and highly valued by collectors.

Known as the Stone of Transformation, Malachite supports emotional and mental growth, helping to trust inner voice, intuition, and open-mindedness.

Its name derives from the Greek word selēnē, meaning moon, reflecting its luminous, almost translucent appearance. Ocean Jasper Palmstone | 5.2cm | Madagascar

Acquired from an old private collection, this Ocean Jasper palmstone has one of the more unusual and layered colour combinations in the group. The orbs themselves are a soft blue-grey — quiet and cool at their centres — but their edges and the clusters they form are rimmed in yellow and orange, giving each one a warm halo that makes the whole piece glow. Scattered through the matrix are pockets of dark green, adding depth and contrast, while white orb banding runs as an accent across the surface, tying everything together.

It is the kind of piece that reveals more the longer you look at it. The colour relationships between the cool blue-grey cores, the warm yellow-orange rims, and the dark green pockets are genuinely complex, and the white banding gives it a graphic clarity that stops it from feeling busy.

From an old private collection — a striking Indicolite specimen with vivid teal-blue tourmaline crystals set within a contrasting quartz matrix.

The specimen presents as a chunky, irregular piece with patches of bright teal-blue Indicolite concentrated across the upper face, shifting from a cool aqua-blue to a deeper inky teal depending on the angle. White quartz fills the surrounding groundmass, creating a bold contrast against the vivid blue crystal zones. The surface has a granular, sparkly texture with natural fracture faces and rough edges consistent with its natural, unpolished state.

Pink Amethyst with Flower Agate & White Quartz Druzy Sphere | 6.2cm | Brazil

A deeply characterful sphere in soft candy pink, with delicate Flower Agate circles across the surface and a large open druzy cavity lined with sparkling white Quartz crystals at its heart.

This 317.5g sphere (6.2cm diameter) formed within geode cavities in Patagonian volcanic rock. The rose hue comes from iron inclusions during crystallisation, with the Flower Agate and Quartz druzy developing naturally within the same host rock. Areas of fine sugary druzy texture across the surface add to its tactile appeal.

Pink Amethyst fosters warmth, calm, and inner peace. Flower Agate encourages growth and new beginnings, while the open druzy cavity amplifies the sphere's energy outward.

Cinnabrite—also known as Cherry Blossom Stone or Rosalinda—is a metamorphic rock composed of white Scapolite and pink to red Epidote, found exclusively in Peru. Its petal-like markings resemble blossoms, giving it its beloved nickname. Despite its name, it contains no Cinnabar and is entirely safe to handle.

A slender, hand-polished ocean jasper wand from an old private collection, with a striking transition of colour from tip to base.

The upper third is dense with small green orbicules on a cream-white ground, giving way to a warm peach-salmon mid-section with scattered rust-orange orbs. The lower body shifts into horizontal bands of deep terracotta-red and creamy white chalcedony, with translucent glassy zones at the base. Slim, comfortable to hold, with a rounded termination and an even polish throughout.

Shiva Shell Hearts | 20-30mm | Indonesia

Not quite a crystal, not quite a stone — Shiva Shell is something altogether more magical. Also known as the Pacific Cat's Eye or the Eye of Shiva, these beautiful heart-shaped pieces are the natural operculum of the Operculum snail, found along the coasts of Indonesia, India, Thailand, and Australia. Each shell is left behind at the end of the snail's natural life, making it a truly organic and sacred gift from the ocean.

Named after the Hindu God Shiva, these shells carry a powerful yet deeply soothing energy. They connect strongly with the Third Eye and Crown Chakras, enhancing intuition, spiritual insight, and higher consciousness. A rare find from one of England's own mineral localities — Devonian-matrix wavellite with exceptional botryoidal coverage.

The face is densely populated with olive-green to khaki botryoidal orbs, their surfaces dimpled and clustered in tight formations across a charcoal-grey matrix. Copper-brown gossan staining bleeds between the clusters, adding warmth and geological depth. Flip the piece and you're rewarded with silvery-white stellate sprays — fan-like radiating crystal bursts scattered across the opposing face, a classic wavellite growth habit rarely seen this clearly.

This 0.6kg specimen (105x63mm) originates from the Madani mines of Afghanistan, where Lapis Lazuli has been actively mined for over 6,000 years. The polished egg form reveals the stone's characteristic deep blue in full, punctuated by shimmering flecks of golden Pyrite and pale veins of Calcite running through the matrix. Lapis Lazuli forms through the metamorphism of limestone, where Lazurite develops alongside Calcite and Pyrite under intense heat and pressure. Prized by the Sumerians and Ancient Egyptians alike, it has been found in the tombs of Pharaohs and was once considered a vessel of the gods.
