Deep ultramarine blue azurite nodules coat this compact specimen in a dense, botryoidal crust, their surfaces catching light with a distinctive vitreous sheen. Veins and patches of mint-green malachite weave between the azurite clusters, creating a vivid contrast across the matrix. Dark cavities between the nodules add depth, while finer granular azurite dusts the edges in powdery cobalt.

A substantial and wonderfully tactile Okenite specimen from India, with soft white botryoidal formations nestled against a dramatic dark basalt matrix.

This 640g specimen (approximately 135x92x46mm) from India displays large rounded white Okenite formations with their characteristic fine radiating fibres, giving each mass a distinctly fluffy, cloud-like quality against the dark grey-green basalt host rock. Okenite is a calcium silicate hydrate mineral forming exclusively within the cavities of basaltic lava flows. Indian trap basalt, particularly from the Deccan region, is world-renowned for producing Okenite specimens of exceptional size and quality.

Flower Agate Flame | 9.5cm | Madagascar

A gorgeous one-off Flower Agate flame from Madagascar with an unusually deep, rusty orange base colour — a striking departure from the pale pink most Flower Agate displays, and one of the most distinctive examples of this stone we have had in. Flower Agate is a variety of Chalcedony discovered in Madagascar in 2018. The flower-like formations are three-dimensional plumes of opaque Chalcedony suspended within a translucent base, visible from the surface as petal-shaped inclusions that genuinely resemble blossoms frozen in stone. The orange and rusty tones in this piece come from iron oxide present during crystallisation — the same chemistry that colours many Agates and Jaspers, here producing something genuinely unusual within the Flower Agate family.

A blocky, well-formed column with a distinctly olive-green sheen across the termination face — warm and earthy in ambient light, deepening to a richer forest green under direct illumination. The torch shot reveals the interior is translucent and saturated with colour throughout. Strong vertical striations run the length of the crystal, and the naturally irregular termination is unworked and entirely natural.

Dulcote Agate is one of Britain's most visually striking agates, quarried from a single site near Wells in Somerset. Each slice is a one-off — no two are alike.

These slices display the full drama of Dulcote's signature patterning: vivid brick-red and terracotta banding sweeps across a ground of cream and pale lavender chalcedony, punctuated by orbicular eye formations, fine white lace lines, and in some pieces, a central druzy quartz cavity that catches light like a geode. The polished faces are glassy and smooth; the natural edges retain the raw, unworked rind of the original nodule.

From an old private collection — a slender, gem-quality Verdelite crystal with excellent prismatic form and a fresh, leafy green colour with a subtle blue shift.

The crystal is an elongated prism with clearly defined faces and strong vertical striations running the full length of the body. The colour is a clean, mid-toned teal-green — bright and even, with a cooler blue cast visible from certain angles. Under direct light the crystal shows good translucency and a glassy interior. Natural surface textures and minor growth features are present, consistent with its natural, unpolished state.

From the celebrated Huanggang Mine in Chifeng, Inner Mongolia — a piece that goes beyond the typical blueberry fluorite specimen, revealing a rare hollow quartz geode interior beneath its dramatic indigo exterior.

The front face is densely packed with large, rounded botryoidal fluorite nodules in deep midnight blue, their surfaces carrying a high resinous lustre with occasional violet undertones where light catches the curved forms. Scattered white druzy quartz crystals push through the fluorite crust, dusting the dark surface with bright mineral snow. Turn the piece to reveal its most remarkable feature: a hollow geode cavity lined with smoky grey quartz crystals and white chalcedony — the fluorite fringing the opening in a vivid indigo border, like a window into the piece’s formation.
