Blue Halite is a stunning and rare variety of Halite, also known as rock salt. Most commonly found in deep salt beds in places like California’s Death Valley and Eastern Europe, Blue Halite forms through the slow evaporation of ancient seas. The blue colour of Blue Halite is caused by natural radiation interacting with the crystal over time, creating structural defects known as colour centres. These defects absorb specific wavelengths of light, resulting in its striking blue hue. 

Although it shares its composition with table salt (Sodium Chloride), Blue Halite is prized for its energetic and metaphysical qualities. It is said to stimulate the Throat Chakra and Third Eye Chakra, supporting clear communication, intuitive insight, and inner truth. This stone is often used during meditation to release emotional blockages, calm the mind, and access higher realms of understanding.
