Cobaltoan Calcite with Malachite from the Democratic Republic of Congo — one of the most visually striking mineral combinations in the natural world, with deep raspberry-pink calcite crystals dusted in vivid emerald-green malachite micro-crystals.

Each piece shares the same dramatic character: tightly packed rhombohedral cobaltoan calcite crystals in a rich, saturated raspberry to crimson-pink, densely coated with bright emerald-green malachite that sits in the recesses and across the crystal faces like a fine dusting of colour. The reverse of each piece reveals the raw grey-white matrix — striated, layered, and sparkly — showing the natural cleavage of the host rock. Dogtooth Calcite, is a variety of Calcite mineral that forms distinct rhombohedral or scalenohedral crystals (the form of the unequal triangles). Dogtooth Calcite has energising and balancing properties, and is also considered an ascension stone. Its connection with the Crown Chakra boosts one to higher spiritual realms and enhances spiritual growth. Dogtooth Calcite is thought to aid in meditation by facilitating a deeper connection with one's higher self and promoting spiritual insight and awareness.

A naturally formed dravite specimen with a well-developed hexagonal cross-section — a crystal habit rarely seen this clearly in rough tourmaline.

The piece is deep charcoal-brown to near-black, with strong vertical striations running the length of the prism faces and pale grey-white matrix threading through the cleavage lines. A granular, slightly metallic face carries scattered mica flecks that catch the light, and the full hexagonal form is blocky and architectural. At approximately 3 × 3 × 3cm it sits solidly without support.

From an old private collection — a delicate, gem-quality Verdelite crystal with a rich blue-green hue and impressive natural form for its size.

The crystal presents as a broad, blocky prism with well-defined faces and strong vertical striations along the body. The colour is a deep teal-green — saturated and consistent throughout, with a cooler blue shift visible from certain angles, characteristic of high-iron Verdelite. Under direct light the interior reveals excellent translucency and glassy clarity. Natural surface textures and minor growth features are present, consistent with its natural, unpolished state.

Verdelite works with the Heart Chakra, encouraging compassion, emotional balance, and a sense of renewal. A grounding yet uplifting companion for those drawn to the green ray.

A beautifully sculptural Cerussite specimen with warm honey-golden colouring, glassy translucent areas and layered crystal growth that catches the light across its surface.

The piece has an irregular, naturally formed silhouette, with stepped crystal faces and softly rounded areas shifting from pale champagne to richer amber-brown. Light moves through the thinner sections to reveal the mineral’s internal depth, while the more densely formed areas have a bright, resinous to adamantine lustre. This specimen is also UV reactive, revealing another side to the mineral under ultraviolet light. The specimen is presented on a clear acrylic display stand and secured with removable white tack.
