A substantial green onyx tower from India with exceptional banding — one of the most painterly examples of this material we have handled.

The colour story runs from a warm amber-orange crown, through bands of sage and celadon green, into a series of fine terracotta, coral, and dusty rose stripes across the mid-section, before settling into a cool, translucent pale green at the base. The banding is fluid and organic, with each layer varying in width and intensity — no two faces read the same. The polish is high and glassy, allowing light to pass through the thinner sections and illuminate the layering from within. At 25 × 9.4 × 7.7cm and 3.24kg, this is a commanding display piece.

A collector-grade eudialite slice from the Kola Peninsula, Russia — one of the world’s only significant sources of this rare zirconium silicate mineral.

One face is fully polished to a high mirror finish, revealing the complex mineral landscape within: vivid magenta-pink eudialite rosettes — some small and scattered, others large and boldly defined — burst across a dark aegirine matrix. White and pale grey feldspar fills the spaces between, creating a striking three-colour composition. Acquired from an old private collection, this Ocean Jasper palmstone is one of the most compositionally interesting pieces in the group — and it reads differently depending on which face you look at.

One side is dominated by deep pink/red orbs, rich and saturated, with white orbs scattered through them and concentrated more heavily toward the bottom. Threading through the deep pink and red is a fine detailing of green quartz, slightly sparkling, that adds a cool mineral counterpoint to the warmth of the surrounding colour.

The other side tells a different story. The central section opens into pale white and soft pink orbs, lighter and more open in feeling, while both the top and bottom of the piece cap it in that same deep red and pink — framing the pale centre like a border, as though the stone composed itself deliberately.
