This 108g carving (6.5x3.5cm) from Afghanistan has been shaped and polished to highlight the deep blue tones and natural pyrite inclusions within the stone. Lapis Lazuli is a metamorphic rock composed primarily of Lazurite, often found with Calcite and Pyrite, valued for centuries for both decorative and cultural use. Traditionally associated with wisdom and inner awareness.

This Pakistani quartz cluster brings clear crystal points, earthy chlorite and dark brookite detail together in one compact piece.

Several translucent points cross at different angles, their glassy edges rising above a pale green, granular coating and warm rust-coloured patches. One side is more open and reflective, while the reverse shows a thicker, textured layer of chlorite against the quartz. A truly exceptional Rhodonite & Rhodochrosite tower from Peru — at 39cm tall and 4.4kg, this is a centrepiece piece in every sense.

The surface is a warm, saturated rose-pink, threaded throughout with swirling white veins of calcite matrix and punctuated by sharp black manganese oxide dendrites. The patterning is dense and complex — no two areas of the tower look the same. The base is broad and stable at 8.2cm, tapering to a crisp 4cm point at the apex, with a high, even polish that brings out the full depth of colour across all four faces.

Rhodonite is a manganese inosilicate mineral (MnSiO₃) that forms in metamorphic environments, often alongside rhodochrosite (MnCO₃), a manganese carbonate. The two minerals share a similar manganese-rich chemistry producing their characteristic pink-to-rose colouration. The black veining is manganese oxide, formed as the minerals oxidised over time.
