This petite crystallised Rose Quartz specimen, from Brazil and sourced from an older, previously owned mineral collection, has a striking upright form with delicate blush-pink colour and warm golden-peach zoning.

Translucent quartz crystals rise closely together in a slender, sculptural cluster. The surface shifts between softly frosted growth and glassier faces that flash in the light, while warmer honey-toned areas concentrate around the upper terminations. Natural dark inclusions and fine mineral staining run through parts of the crystal growth, adding contrast and a glimpse into the conditions in which the specimen formed. Each angle reveals overlapping points, small crystalline pockets and changing layers of pink, clear and golden colour.

Rose Quartz is associated in crystal traditions with love, compassion and emotional healing. Connected with the Heart chakra, it is often chosen to encourage gentleness, self-love and emotional balance. Its traditional planetary association is Venus, with Taurus and Libra commonly linked to the stone.

A beautifully polished Pietersite heart, intuitively chosen for you from a carefully selected batch. Pietersite is one of the most visually dramatic stones available — and in heart form, its stormy, swirling energy feels particularly fitting.

The base is a deep blue-black, shot through with fibrous chatoyant bands of midnight blue, steel grey, and warm amber-brown. Under light the surface shifts and shimmers like a storm caught in stone — no two pieces display the same pattern. High, even polish with a flat back for easy display or comfortable palm-holding.

Pietersite is a brecciated aggregate of hawk’s eye (blue crocidolite) and tiger’s eye (golden crocidolite pseudomorphed by quartz), bound together in a chalcedony matrix. The fibrous structure creates strong chatoyancy, and the brecciation produces the swirling, storm-like patterning the stone is known for. First described in 1962 by Sid Pieters, it is sourced from Namibia.

Rose Quartz Freeform | 11.3cm | Madagascar

An exceptionally deep-coloured Rose Quartz freeform from Madagascar — one of the darkest, most saturated examples of this mineral we have seen, a far cry from the pale blush most people associate with Rose Quartz.

One piece, sold as seen. Size approximately 11.3cm. Hand carved, with a point at the top that is not perfectly straight — a characteristic of the hand carving process rather than a flaw, and part of what makes this a genuinely handmade piece. The stone also contains natural internal cracks, clearly visible in the photos. These are entirely natural features of the crystal and do not affect its structural integrity.

Rose Quartz is a variety of Quartz coloured by microscopic inclusions of a fibrous mineral, most likely dumortierite or a related silicate, which scatter light and produce the characteristic pink. Madagascan Rose Quartz is particularly prized for its depth of colour and the intensity of its pink, which in the finest specimens approaches a deep, almost dusty rose. This piece sits firmly at that end of the spectrum.

Sphalerite with Minor Smithsonite on White Quartz | Nenthead, Cumbria

A striking large-scale mineral specimen from Boundary Gate Pocket, Nenthead, Cumbria, featuring lustrous dark sphalerite set across a white quartz matrix.

The front presents a dramatic contrast of metallic black to deep brown sphalerite crystals, bright white quartz and warm earthy accents from the associated mineral growth. The reverse reveals further texture and colour, giving this substantial specimen plenty of detail to explore from different angles.

Collected from Boundary Gate Pocket in January 2003, this is a characterful piece with a strong sense of locality and provenance. Minor smithsonite adds to the mineral interest of the specimen without taking away from the bold sphalerite and quartz combination.

Sphalerite is associated in crystal lore with grounding, vitality and confidence, and is often linked with the Root and Solar Plexus Chakras. A powerful statement piece for a serious mineral collection or display.
