This Sardonyx gemstone has pale to dark orange colours and is associated with the Sacral and Solar Plexus Chakras. The Romans believed the stone was protective, and wore it on their breastplates. The stone was also used for seals and signet rings. The banded colouring of Red Orange Sardonyx makes it a good choice for stone cameos and jewellery. Connected to the Sacral Chakra, located below the navel and above the pubic bone, is the centre of our body's gravity and is also responsible for the flow of life energy. Red Orange Sardonyx is believed to enhance the fire within us, give us energy and willpower through the Sacral Chakra.
