Cobaltoan Calcite with Malachite | DRC

Cobaltoan Calcite with Malachite from the Democratic Republic of Congo — one of the most visually striking mineral combinations in the natural world, with deep raspberry-pink calcite crystals dusted in vivid emerald-green malachite micro-crystals.

Each piece shares the same dramatic character: tightly packed rhombohedral cobaltoan calcite crystals in a rich, saturated raspberry to crimson-pink, densely coated with bright emerald-green malachite that sits in the recesses and across the crystal faces like a fine dusting of colour. The reverse of each piece reveals the raw grey-white matrix — striated, layered, and sparkly — showing the natural cleavage of the host rock. The contrast between the vivid mineral face and the pale matrix reverse is striking. Three pieces available, each unique in form and balance of colour — choose your piece below.

Cobaltoan Calcite is a Heart Chakra stone of deep emotional healing, compassion, and self-love. Malachite amplifies this with its own Heart Chakra energy — transformation, protection, and the release of old patterns. Together they form a powerful combination for emotional renewal and inner growth.

Water cleanse? Not recommended. Malachite is toxic when wet and should never be cleansed with water. Cobaltoan calcite can also dissolve slowly in water. Cleanse with moonlight, sound, or smoke instead.

A naturally formed dravite specimen with a well-developed hexagonal cross-section — a crystal habit rarely seen this clearly in rough tourmaline.

The piece is deep charcoal-brown to near-black, with strong vertical striations running the length of the prism faces and pale grey-white matrix threading through the cleavage lines. A granular, slightly metallic face carries scattered mica flecks that catch the light, and the full hexagonal form is blocky and architectural. At approximately 3 × 3 × 3cm it sits solidly without support.

Pyritised Ammonite from France 17.70gr

Keywords: Transformation, Ancient Wisdom, Balance, New Beginnings, Divine Connection

A pyritized ammonite is a fossilized ammonite that has undergone mineral replacement with pyrite—commonly known as "fool's gold"—during the fossilization process, giving it a natural metallic sheen and golden luster.

Ammonites, or Ammonoidea, are extinct shelled cephalopods or marine molluscs dating from the Devonian period (circa 400 million years ago) and the end of the Cretaceous period (circa 66 million years ago).

Safe to water cleanse? No. It's important to handle ammonite fossils with care as they are delicate and can be easily damaged. Cleanse them gently using a soft brush or cloth to remove dust and dirt. Avoid exposing them to harsh chemicals or excessive moisture as these can potentially harm the integrity of the fossil.
