A freeform rubellite tourmaline and quartz matrix specimen from Brazil, combining two minerals in a single striking piece.

Multiple rubellite crystal clusters burst through and across a chunky milky quartz host — vivid magenta-pink prisms ranging from short stubby terminations to longer needle-like crystals, densely packed at the base and sparser toward the crown. The quartz matrix is semi-translucent white with a sugary texture, providing strong contrast against the saturated pink of the tourmaline.
