The front face is densely encrusted with rosette clusters of deep cobalt and electric blue chalcanthite crystals, their bladed, fan-like formations catching light with an almost metallic shimmer. Chrysocolla on Malachite Specimen | 1.1KG | Zaire

A substantial specimen from Zaire featuring natural blue to turquoise Chrysocolla formations across a Malachite base. The contrast between the two copper-bearing minerals highlights their natural geological association. One available. Sold as seen.

Chrysocolla is a hydrated copper aluminium silicate that forms as a secondary mineral through the weathering of copper deposits. It commonly develops alongside Malachite and Azurite where mineral-rich solutions interact with surrounding rock near the Earth's surface.

Uvarovite is a calcium chromium silicate and the rarest member of the Garnet group. Stichtite from South Africa, one of only a handful of locations worldwide where this rare chromium carbonate mineral occurs in collectable quality.

Each tumblestone displays vivid violet-to-magenta colouring set against a dark olive-green serpentinite matrix, the two minerals having formed together in ancient ultramafic rock.
