A large, densely packed elestial smoky quartz cluster from Romania, one of the finest sources for this distinctive skeletal growth form. This is a Morion specimen: naturally dark smoky quartz, colour produced entirely by natural irradiation with no heat or enhancement. Part of an old collection and no longer available to source, a genuine rarity.

Olive-grey to warm taupe throughout, the cluster is covered in hundreds of short, rounded elestial points with deeply etched terminations and glassy, reflective faces. Growth spirals and re-entrant angles are visible across the upper surface, each point catching light differently as the angle shifts. The base transitions to a raw, granitic matrix, dark grey with mineral inclusions, giving the piece a strong natural contrast between the refined crystal faces above and the rough host rock below. A substantial, sculptural specimen with real presence.

A rare multi-mineral specimen from Mozambique — chrysoberyl, aquamarine, and quartz sharing a single matrix, each mineral distinct and well-formed.

The dominant feature is a broad, tabular chrysoberyl crystal in a rich olive to yellow-green, with a slightly waxy, striated face and sharp angular edges characteristic of the mineral's orthorhombic habit. It sits atop a base of granular white quartz matrix, which catches light with a subtle sparkle across its surface. A beautifully sculptural Cerussite specimen with warm honey-golden colouring, glassy translucent areas and layered crystal growth that catches the light across its surface.

The piece has an irregular, naturally formed silhouette, with stepped crystal faces and softly rounded areas shifting from pale champagne to richer amber-brown. Light moves through the thinner sections to reveal the mineral’s internal depth, while the more densely formed areas have a bright, resinous to adamantine lustre.
