Dioptase was first discovered in the 18th century in the Altyn-Tube mine in Kazakhstan. Its name is derived from the Greek word diops or "double appearance" due to its notable pleochroism. If you refuse to pay duties and taxes upon arrival at your destination country, the goods will be returned to Tali and Loz at the customers expense, and the customer will receive a refund for the value of goods paid, minus the cost of the return shipping.
