A large, densely packed elestial smoky quartz cluster from Romania, one of the finest sources for this distinctive skeletal growth form. This is a Morion specimen: naturally dark smoky quartz, colour produced entirely by natural irradiation with no heat or enhancement. Part of an old collection and no longer available to source, a genuine rarity.

Olive-grey to warm taupe throughout, the cluster is covered in hundreds of short, rounded elestial points with deeply etched terminations and glassy, reflective faces. Growth spirals and re-entrant angles are visible across the upper surface, each point catching light differently as the angle shifts. The base transitions to a raw, granitic matrix, dark grey with mineral inclusions, giving the piece a strong natural contrast between the refined crystal faces above and the rough host rock below. A substantial, sculptural specimen with real presence.

A collector-grade indicolite tourmaline crystal from Brazil — the blue variety of tourmaline, and one of the rarest.

A single prismatic column of deep teal-blue, shifting toward a cooler aqua at the upper edges where the light catches the natural glassy lustre. Strong vertical striations run the full length of the crystal, characteristic of tourmaline's trigonal structure. A cluster of white albite matrix clings to the base, anchoring the crystal and providing striking contrast against the saturated blue. The termination is naturally stepped and slightly irregular — unworked and entirely natural.

A well-formed dravite crystal with a clean, upright habit and a striking deep brown/black colour — a textbook example of tourmaline's characteristic prismatic form.

The piece is deep, opaque brown with strong vertical striations running the full length of the prism faces and a naturally stepped termination at the top. The reverse shows a more complex, etched surface with pale white matrix threading through the cleavage — a contrast that highlights the crystal's natural growth history. The base is raw and unworked. At 3.2 × 2.9 × 1.7cm it stands confidently upright on its included acrylic display stand, secured with a small amount of white tack that is easily removed.

Flower Agate Flame | 9.5cm | Madagascar

A gorgeous one-off Flower Agate flame from Madagascar with an unusually deep, rusty orange base colour — a striking departure from the pale pink most Flower Agate displays, and one of the most distinctive examples of this stone we have had in. Flower Agate is a variety of Chalcedony discovered in Madagascar in 2018. The flower-like formations are three-dimensional plumes of opaque Chalcedony suspended within a translucent base, visible from the surface as petal-shaped inclusions that genuinely resemble blossoms frozen in stone. The orange and rusty tones in this piece come from iron oxide present during crystallisation — the same chemistry that colours many Agates and Jaspers, here producing something genuinely unusual within the Flower Agate family.

Mahogany Obsidian is a variety of volcanic glass (SiO₂) distinguished by its deep red-brown and black patterning, caused by inclusions of iron oxide, magnetite, and haematite within the silica matrix. Like all obsidian, it forms when lava cools rapidly, preventing crystal formation. With a Mohs hardness of 5–5.5 and an amorphous structure, it has a characteristic conchoidal fracture. Each piece varies in the distribution of red-brown and black tones.

A freeform rubellite tourmaline and quartz matrix specimen from Brazil, combining two minerals in a single striking piece.

Multiple rubellite crystal clusters burst through and across a chunky milky quartz host — vivid magenta-pink prisms ranging from short stubby terminations to longer needle-like crystals, densely packed at the base and sparser toward the crown. The quartz matrix is semi-translucent white with a sugary texture, providing strong contrast against the saturated pink of the tourmaline. A cluster of intergrown cubic fluorite in rich teal-green, each face catching light with a glassy, translucent depth. Cream and grey calcite rosettes spread across the surface and into the cavities between crystals, their botryoidal forms contrasting sharply with the angular fluorite geometry. Under UV light, the piece transforms entirely — the fluorite fluorescing a vivid, electric indigo-blue, while the calcite holds its cool grey.
