From an old private collection — a petite, gem-quality Verdelite crystal with a distinctly blue-green hue that sits right on the boundary between green and indicolite tourmaline.

The crystal is a single prismatic column, 12mm in length, with strong vertical striations running the length of the body. The colour is a cool teal-green — deeper and more saturated at the core, shifting to a slightly paler, more translucent blue-green toward the termination. Under direct light, the interior glows with a glassy clarity typical of gem-grade tourmaline. Small natural surface features are present, consistent with its natural formation.

Verdelite works with the Heart Chakra, encouraging compassion, emotional balance, and a sense of renewal. A grounding yet uplifting companion for those drawn to the green ray.

Mined from the legendary Messina copper deposits in Limpopo — one of the only localities in the world to produce gem-quality ajoite.

A freeform free-standing specimen coated in a dense crust of botryoidal ajoite clusters. The colour ranges from pale mint at the base to saturated robin's-egg teal at the crown, with the characteristic powdery, almost chalky surface texture of ajoite breaking into small crystalline protrusions. The quartz matrix beneath shows through at the edges in milky white. Under light, the surface has a subtle silky sheen across the druzy faces.

Sugilite is a potassium sodium lithium iron manganese silicate forming in manganese-rich environments, first identified in Japan in 1944 by petrologist Kenichi Sugi. Each specimen is completely natural and one of a kind.

Deep jet-black throughout, this piece has the characteristic sculpted, flow-textured surface of a well-preserved Indochinite — ridged, pitted, and rippled from its violent journey through the atmosphere. The form is elongated and rounded, sitting comfortably in the hand, with a subtle glassy sheen where the texture smooths between the deeper grooves. At 53.2g it is a notably weighty example for its size.

Indochinites are a natural glass formed when a large meteorite impact melts and ejects terrestrial rock, which then solidifies during atmospheric flight. The Indochinese strewn field spans Southeast Asia and parts of Australia, and the impact event is dated to approximately 790,000 years ago.
