A substantial and wonderfully tactile Okenite specimen from India, with soft white botryoidal formations nestled against a dramatic dark basalt matrix.

A superb 640g Okenite specimen measuring approximately 135x92x46mm, from India, one of the world's finest and most prolific sources of this uniquely beautiful mineral. The display face is covered in large, rounded white Okenite formations, their soft cotton-like texture and gentle cream-white colouring standing in beautiful contrast against the dark grey-green basalt host rock. Up close the Okenite reveals its characteristic fine radiating fibres, giving each rounded mass a distinctly fluffy, almost cloud-like quality. Okenite is a calcium silicate hydrate mineral that forms exclusively within the cavities of basaltic lava flows, developing as silica-rich hydrothermal fluids react with calcium within the cooling volcanic rock. Indian trap basalt, particularly from the Deccan region, is world-renowned for producing Okenite specimens of exceptional size and quality.

Okenite is regarded as a stone of truth, self-forgiveness, and gentle karmic clearing, helping to release old cycles and support the beginning of new, more aligned chapters. from Monday to Friday. Domestic UK delivery times are approximately 2-5 business days depending on your preferred shipping method. International
shipping times are highly country depending, but currently we experience a 5-20 days delivery time.

Import Duties & Taxes (outside the UK)

If you refuse to pay duties and taxes upon arrival at your destination country, the goods will be returned to Tali and Loz at the customers expense, and the customer will receive a refund for the value of goods paid, minus the cost of the return shipping.
