Origin: Merelani Hills, Lelatema Mountains, Simanjiro District, Manyara Region, Tanzania
This natural Tanzanite gemstone weighs approximately 1.67g and comes from the Merelani Hills in northern Tanzania, the only known locality for this rare gemstone. First identified in 1967, Tanzanite is a blue to violet variety of Zoisite, prized for its limited geographic origin and distinctive colouration.
Mineralogically, Tanzanite is a vanadium bearing variety of Zoisite that forms under specific metamorphic conditions, with trace element chemistry responsible for its blue violet colour and strong pleochroism.
Traditionally, Tanzanite is linked with the Throat Chakra, encouraging clear expression, and the Third Eye Chakra, associated with awareness and intuition. It is often selected for meditation, focused intention work or as part of a curated gemstone collection.
Care: Suitable for brief water contact only. Prolonged exposure is not advised as it may affect the surface lustre.

Import Duties & Taxes (outside the UK)
Import duties and taxes for international shipments may be liable to be paid upon arrival in destination country. This varies by country, and Tali and Loz encourage you to be aware of these potential costs before placing an order with us.
If you refuse to pay duties and taxes upon arrival at your destination country, the goods will be returned to Tali and Loz at the customers expense, and the customer will receive a refund for the value of goods paid, minus the cost of the return shipping. The cost of the initial shipping will not be refunded.
Returns

guarantee return policy on sold as seen items, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. On intuitively chosen items we cannot accept any returns.
