A smooth, well-proportioned heart in Dumortierite quartz, carrying one of the most distinctive blues in the mineral world.

The colour is a consistent mid cornflower-blue, evenly distributed across the surface with a fine granular texture. Scattered throughout are small dark inclusions — navy and near-black specks and short fibrous streaks — the characteristic patterning of Dumortierite within its quartz matrix. A small patch of paler, more translucent quartz sits near the top, where the host material shows through. The polish is high and smooth, the form solid and satisfying in the hand.

Dumortierite is a stone of mental clarity, patience, and self-discipline. It works with the Throat and Third Eye Chakras to support clear communication, organised thinking, and the confidence to speak one’s truth. Dumortierite is an aluminium borosilicate mineral (Al₇(BO₃)(SiO₄)₃O₃) that forms within metamorphic and pegmatite rocks. Its vivid blue colour comes from iron and titanium substitutions within its crystal structure. It most commonly occurs as fibrous inclusions within quartz, producing the characteristic speckled and streaked blue appearance seen in polished pieces.

Dumortierite is a stone of mental clarity, patience, and self-discipline. from Monday to Friday. Domestic UK delivery times are approximately 2-5 business days depending on your preferred shipping method. International
shipping times are highly country depending, but currently we experience a 5-20 days delivery time.

Import Duties & Taxes (outside the UK)

Import duties and taxes for international shipments may be liable to be paid upon arrival in destination country. This varies by country, and Tali and Loz encourage you to be aware of these potential costs before placing an order with us.

If you refuse to pay duties and taxes upon arrival at your destination country, the goods will be returned to Tali and Loz at the customers expense, and the customer will receive a refund for the value of goods paid, minus the cost of the return shipping. The cost of the initial shipping will not be refunded.
