Staurolite is an iron aluminium silicate mineral forming exclusively during high-grade regional metamorphism, its famous cross-shaped habit governed by precise crystal twinning deep within the earth's crust.

Barite on Malachite | 52mm | Shangulowe Mine, DR Congo

From the Shangulowe Mine in Kambove, one of the Democratic Republic of Congo’s most celebrated copper belt localities — a source renowned for producing some of the finest malachite specimens in the world.

A chunky, three-dimensional specimen with a dramatic crown of upright barite needle clusters erupting from the top face. The barite crystals are elongated and translucent, coated in fine emerald-green malachite that gives them a vivid, almost iridescent quality. The lower portion is dominated by a dense, earthy iron-oxide matrix in warm ochre and russet tones, with pockets of glassy barite and malachite growth visible throughout. A striking 198.5g Blue Baryte specimen measuring 81x85x35mm, from the renowned Cavnic Mine in Romania. The side profile reveals the raw sandy matrix underneath, showing clearly how the blue crystals have grown outward from the host rock. Distinct ochre orbs sit clearly defined against the surrounding matrix, with pink and mauve colouring threading through the piece and softening the warmth of the ochre into something altogether more complex. Vanadinite Specimen 9cm, Morocco

This Vanadinite specimen originates from the Aouli Mine in Mibladen, Morocco, a locality internationally recognised for producing some of the world’s finest Vanadinite crystals. The specimen displays rich red to orange tones with naturally formed hexagonal crystal shapes and a bright, lustrous surface.

Vanadinite is a lead vanadate mineral belonging to the Vanadate group and structurally related to the Apatite group. It forms as a secondary mineral within the oxidation zones of lead ore deposits, where vanadium rich fluids react with existing lead minerals. Crystals develop in the hexagonal crystal system and are known for their strong colour saturation and high density.

Traditionally, Vanadinite is associated with focus, vitality and manifestation. It resonates with the Root, Sacral, Solar Plexus and Third Eye Chakras, and is often chosen to support motivation, creative flow and grounded intention.

Due to its lead content and brittle nature, Vanadinite is not suitable for water cleansing. Clean gently using a soft dry brush or cloth only.

A beautiful Rainbow Obsidian sphere from Mexico with a feature that makes it truly special — both sides display their own distinctive circular rainbow, that classic bull's-eye effect that Rainbow Obsidian is so loved for. Sourced from Brazil and from an older, previously owned mineral collection, this petite crystallised Rose Quartz specimen has delicate blush-pink colour and a beautifully sculptural cluster of natural quartz points.

Soft translucent blades rise together in a compact, flower-like formation, their layered faces shifting from milky pale pink to clearer glassy edges. Fine crystalline growth sparkles across the surface, while subtle variations in tone and texture become visible as the piece is turned in the light. Viewed from each side, the overlapping points create small natural pockets and an intricate silhouette that gives this little specimen plenty of presence.

Acquired from an old private collection, this Ocean Jasper palmstone is one of the most compositionally interesting pieces in the group — and it reads differently depending on which face you look at.

One side is dominated by deep pink/red orbs, rich and saturated, with white orbs scattered through them and concentrated more heavily toward the bottom. Threading through the deep pink and red is a fine detailing of green quartz, slightly sparkling, that adds a cool mineral counterpoint to the warmth of the surrounding colour.

The other side tells a different story. The central section opens into pale white and soft pink orbs, lighter and more open in feeling, while both the top and bottom of the piece cap it in that same deep red and pink — framing the pale centre like a border, as though the stone composed itself deliberately.

Acquired from an old private collection, this little palmstone comes from the earliest known finds of Ocean Jasper — material collected before the deposit became widely known, when the stone was still something of a secret. Early-find Ocean Jasper is notably more translucent than later material, and you can see that quality here: the colours have a luminous, almost glowing quality rather than the opacity of more recent pieces.

The colouring moves through the stone in a long, unhurried sweep — from deep red at one end, through cool blue-grey in the middle, and out into warm ochre yellow at the other. On one side there is a tiny pocket of druzy, a small cluster of sparkling crystalline texture that catches the light and adds a quiet detail to an already characterful piece.

The orbs themselves are a soft blue-grey — quiet and cool at their centres — but their edges and the clusters they form are rimmed in yellow and orange, giving each one a warm halo that makes the whole piece glow. Scattered through the matrix are pockets of dark green, adding depth and contrast, while white orb banding runs as an accent across the surface, tying everything together.
