This exceptional Quartz, Calcite and Bitumen specimen originates from New York, USA and features a rare double terminated Herkimer Diamond naturally positioned within a sparkling druzy quartz opening. Adding to its rarity, two smaller Herkimer Diamonds are visible at the rear of the druzy cavity, naturally embedded within the quartz matrix.

Herkimer Diamonds are a variety of double terminated Quartz formed under precise hydrothermal conditions. The occurrence of multiple Herkimers within a single specimen is uncommon.

Traditionally associated with clarity, amplification and high vibration, Herkimer Diamonds resonate with the Third Eye and Crown Chakras and are often chosen to support focus and insight.

Water cleansing is not recommended. Clean gently using light dusting with a soft dry brush or cloth only, gentle handling is recommended to protect delicate crystal surfaces.

These fossilised ammonites appear as pale spiral shapes set within a darker grey to brown limestone matrix, preserving a diverse snapshot of early Jurassic marine life from a single geological environment.

This piece has been hand polished to enhance the fossil detail while retaining the natural character of the stone.
