Serpentine belongs to the Serpentine Group and is classified as a Phyllosilicate mineral. It forms through the metamorphic alteration of magnesium rich rocks, where heat and fluid interaction transform the original material. The base is predominantly creamy off-white feldspar, polished to a smooth dome. Astrophyllite blades in deep bronze-black are distributed across the face in sweeping, diagonal strokes — some broad and bold, others finer and more scattered, with warm copper-bronze metallic flash catching the light between them. The reverse is lighter and more speckled, showing the natural texture of the host rock. A slim, even profile throughout.
