A collector-grade indicolite tourmaline crystal from Brazil — the blue variety of tourmaline, and one of the rarest.

A single prismatic column of deep teal-blue, shifting toward a cooler aqua at the upper edges where the light catches the natural glassy lustre. Strong vertical striations run the full length of the crystal, characteristic of tourmaline's trigonal structure. A cluster of white albite matrix clings to the base, anchoring the crystal and providing striking contrast against the saturated blue. The termination is naturally stepped and slightly irregular — unworked and entirely natural.

Seraphinite Wing Shaped Freeform on Stand 0.9KG, Russia

This exceptional Seraphinite freeform has been naturally shaped and polished into a striking wing like form. The crystal measures approximately 17cm tall and is securely mounted on a custom stand, creating an overall display height of around 23cm. Polishing reveals rich green tones with silvery white feather like chatoyant patterns.

Seraphinite is a Clinochlore variety within the Chlorite group and a Phyllosilicate mineral, formed through metamorphic processes under high pressure and low temperature. Iron content contributes to its vibrant green colour, while its internal structure creates the characteristic chatoyancy.

The name Seraphinite comes from Seraphim, celestial beings, inspired by the mineral’s natural wing and feather like appearance. A true one of a kind statement piece, perfectly suited as a centrepiece display, altar feature or standout collector specimen. Seraphinite is traditionally associated with heart led transformation and spiritual growth.

A striking large-scale mineral specimen from Boundary Gate Pocket, Nenthead, Cumbria, featuring lustrous dark sphalerite set across a white quartz matrix.

The front presents a dramatic contrast of metallic black to deep brown sphalerite crystals, bright white quartz and warm earthy accents from the associated mineral growth. The reverse reveals further texture and colour, giving this substantial specimen plenty of detail to explore from different angles.

Collected from Boundary Gate Pocket in January 2003, this is a characterful piece with a strong sense of locality and provenance. Minor smithsonite adds to the mineral interest of the specimen without taking away from the bold sphalerite and quartz combination.

Each tumblestone displays vivid violet-to-magenta colouring set against a dark olive-green serpentinite matrix, the two minerals having formed together in ancient ultramafic rock. Hypersthene is a member of the Pyroxene mineral family, forming within igneous and metamorphic rocks as magnesium and iron-rich silicate minerals crystallise under high temperature and pressure conditions. Its name comes from the Greek for above strength, a reference to its hardness relative to Hornblende, the mineral it was originally compared to. The schiller effect — the soft, moving shimmer visible when light catches the surface — is caused by light reflecting from thin parallel layers of mineral inclusions within the crystal structure, similar to the effect seen in Labradorite and Moonstone. It is one of those stones that rewards slow handling: the shimmer only reveals itself as the piece moves.
