This 1.1kg specimen (125x75mm) originates from the Madani mines of Afghanistan, where Lapis Lazuli has been actively mined for over 6,000 years. The polished egg form reveals the stone's characteristic deep blue in full, punctuated by shimmering flecks of golden Pyrite and pale veins of Calcite running through the matrix. Lapis Lazuli forms through the metamorphism of limestone, where Lazurite develops alongside Calcite and Pyrite under intense heat and pressure deep within the Earth. The Madani deposit remains one of the finest sources in the world for richly coloured, high quality material.

Blue Cap Tourmaline with Green Tourmaline | 3.58g | Brazil

A naturally terminated Blue Cap Tourmaline crystal from Brazil — a single crystal exhibiting two distinct colour zones in one unbroken form.

The crystal is predominantly deep forest green with strong vertical striations running the length of the prism faces — characteristic of tourmaline's trigonal growth. The terminal cap shifts to a cool blue-grey, clearly distinct from the green body and visible from all angles. This crystallised Rose Quartz specimen has a tall, substantial form with soft blush-pink colour and warm golden mineral staining. Sourced from an previously owned older collection with Brazilian origin.

A broad quartz point rises from the natural base, its surface moving between translucent glassy areas, softly frosted growth and fine sparkling crystallisation. Pale pink tones are strongest through the upper section, while cream and honey-gold colour gathers around the lower crystal faces and a natural side cavity.
