Distinct ochre orbs sit clearly defined against the surrounding matrix, with pink and mauve colouring threading through the piece and softening the warmth of the ochre into something altogether more complex. It is the kind of colour combination that photographs well but looks even better in person.

Every orb is a record of radial mineral growth that took place over millions of years in the volcanic basalts of Madagascar. No two pieces are ever the same, and this one is particularly its own.

This 182g specimen (approximately 6x6.4x4.2cm, 255g including stand) from Brazil features a natural Citrine point with Green Tourmaline running through the top, creating depth and contrast between golden tones and rich green inclusions. Feldspar is present within the matrix alongside a delicate sprinkling of Lepidolite beginning to form across parts of the surface, adding subtle texture and lilac shimmer.
