Warm amethyst-violet at the core, shifting to amber-citrine and dusty rose across the upper points, the main stalactitic columns are encrusted from base to tip in hundreds of tiny druzy quartz crystals, each one catching light with a fine, sugary sparkle. The colour zoning is exceptional — deep purple at the terminations fading through caramel-brown to pale lavender at the druzy tips. The irregular, organic silhouette with its twin crowning spires gives this piece a totemic quality rarely seen at this scale. From the celebrated Huanggang Mine in Chifeng, Inner Mongolia — a richly saturated blueberry fluorite specimen with exceptional colour depth, and a torch shot that reveals something extraordinary.

Dense midnight-blue botryoidal fluorite nodules coat this compact cluster in a deep, near-black indigo crust, their rounded surfaces carrying a high resinous lustre. Scattered white druzy quartz crystals punctuate the dark surface, catching the light against the deep blue. The base opens into a raw grey quartz matrix with smoky inclusions, grounding the piece structurally. Hold a torch to the upper nodules and the fluorite transforms — illuminating in a vivid electric blue, with internal fractures and growth patterns rendered visible in glowing detail.
