A substantial self-standing amphibole quartz point from Brazil, with a naturally textured base and a polished upper body revealing rich iron-stained inclusions throughout.

The lower two-thirds of the piece retains its natural, druzy surface — a crust of small quartz crystals in warm honey-amber and pale cream tones, giving the base a rough, organic character. The upper body transitions into a smoother, more translucent zone where warm caramel-brown and dusty rose iron oxide inclusions pool and swirl within the quartz. The termination is partially polished, with a clear, glassy apex and a secondary face showing additional inclusion detail. Scattered dark mineral specks — likely manganese or iron oxide deposits — punctuate the upper crystal body. Self-standing on its natural base.

Amphibole quartz is associated with the Crown and Third Eye chakras, and is considered a high-vibration stone for dream work, angelic connection, and deep inner peace. The iron-rich inclusions ground its energy, making it as stabilising as it is expansive — a strong companion for meditation or restful sleep.

Amphibole quartz is clear or smoky quartz that contains inclusions of amphibole group minerals — most commonly actinolite (green fibres), hornblende (dark brown-black), and richterite or tremolite (pale yellow to white). The warm caramel and rose colouration in this piece comes from iron oxide (haematite or limonite) deposits within the quartz matrix. These minerals were trapped during the quartz's growth phase, creating the characteristic swirling, cloud-like patterns visible through the polished faces. The natural druzy base formed as smaller quartz crystals grew outward from the matrix during the final stages of crystallisation. Brazil is the primary source of gem-quality amphibole quartz, where it forms in pegmatite and metamorphic environments.

Amphibole quartz — sometimes called angel phantom quartz — is associated with the Crown and Third Eye chakras, and is considered one of the higher-vibration quartz varieties. It is used in meditation for accessing angelic realms, enhancing dream recall, and supporting deep, restful sleep. The iron-rich inclusions add a grounding, protective quality to what is otherwise an expansive, spiritually-oriented stone. A strong companion for those working with lucid dreaming, inner vision, or seeking a sense of profound peace.

Import Duties & Taxes (outside the UK)

Import duties and taxes for international shipments may be liable to be paid upon arrival in destination country. This varies by country, and Tali and Loz encourage you to be aware of these potential costs before placing an order with us.

If you refuse to pay duties and taxes upon arrival at your destination country, the goods will be returned to Tali and Loz at the customers expense, and the customer will receive a refund for the value of goods paid, minus the cost of the return shipping. The cost of the initial shipping will not be refunded.
